The Home Tee Texas Y'all (c/o) | American Eagle Shorts | Kimchi Blue Belt | Vintage Boots (They were my Granna's, similar here) | Rayban Wayfarers | Kendra Scott Earrings | OPI Nail Polish | Bracelet

Congrats, y'all! We made it to the weekend! I always look forward to Fridays, but not just because it's the last working day in the week. I truly love sharing small businesses, and that's what I do every Friday here, on Southern Elle Style.

If you were here for this post, then you know that I LOVE Shark Tank. Today, I'm excited to bring y'all another company that was shown on Season 6 of Shark Tank, earlier this year. While they didn't get a deal, their t-shirt line has become extremely popular and it's obvious why!

As a born and raised Texan, I take a lot of pride in my state. (As do most Texans.)  I mean, what other state is the most recognizable anywhere you go? So, when The Home T approached me about collaborating, I was ecstatic! I even had trouble choosing what I would feature, because everything is so cute!

I love my Texas Y'all tee, but their generic home tee is such a classic! I went with the "y'all" option, because it is literally embedded in my lingo forever. I don't think anything of it when I talk, but I definitely edit it out of professional emails.

When I was in Hawaii a month ago, I was trying to get my family to get together for a picture and said "y'all! Get into place!" The nice man about to take our photo then proceeded to say "You're from Texas, aren't you?!". Ya caught me...That's how I was raised. I say yes ma'am, no sir, and y'all and I'm proud of it! For that reason, I might just have to get their "My Y'all is authentic" tee.

And while we are on this topic, let me address the correct way to spell "y'all". I'll have you know that I won my fourth grade spelling bee and have gotten in fights about the right way to spell the Texan slang, so listen up! You + All = Yall. Like any conjunction in the English language, you put the apostrophe where you take out the letter(s). In Yall, you are removing the "ou" of You, so you put the apostrophe after the "Y", to make "Y'all". If you are spelling it "ya'll", what does that even mean?! What words are you connecting?! My point exactly. Don't worry if you've been spelling it wrong...I won't judge you, I'll just think "you're not from 'round these here parts of the U.S." ;)

Anyway, off my soapbox and back to The Home T! Not only are these tees cute, but they are a poly/cotton blend that is super soft. As if they couldn't get any better, they are a very philanthropic business. Whether you get warm and fuzzy feelings from wearing your tee in your new home, or by giving back to society, you can do both through THT. 10% of every purchase is donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. In 2013 the NMSS actually presented The Home T the  Cause Marketing Partner of the Year award.

A great brand, with a great product and a great message. What more could you want? It's as if Dorothy herself clicked her heels 3 times and out came The Home T company. To keep up with them, checkout their Website, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

As always, if you know a brand that fits my style or are a company that would like to work with me, contact me here! If you want to catch up on the previous weeks' features, check out my Southern Elle Style Shop Share Pinterest Board here, with direct links to the posts.
