How to Wear Joggers to Work

We live in an age of athleisure, that is for sure. I like that comfort is in; however, I don't particularity enjoy the fact that people take that to the extremes. Get up and wash your face, comb your hair, and brush your teeth. You don't have to wear makeup, or even have your hair "done", but show your body and everyone else some respect!
Joggers have been on the scene for a couple of years now, and I am just now taking part in the trend. It took me a while to find a pair that fit me well, but also I needed the confidence to rock them, as well. I got these pants from my secret santa, in one of my blogger groups; but, I also have these, that I featured a couple of weeks ago. You'll notice that they are very different in style in fabric; however, I have actually worn both to work! How? By following these 3 steps:
1) Shoes. I listed footwear first, as they can make or break your look. If I'm just running errands, some fashion sneakers will do just fine; however, if I'm trying to dress up joggers, an ankle boot or bootie is where I turn. Heels give the look some extra oomph, but a bootie brings some casual sass. You can't go wrong, with either! In the same regard, if your joggers are super dressy, try dressing them down, with a more casual shoe, like converse.
2) Fabric and Notions. You can find amazing joggers, that aren't just wicking/performance fabric. These joggers have pleather trimming, which instantly dress them up. There are also amazing joggers made out mediums like chambray, and even silk. You can rock more gym-like joggers to work, if you follow no. 1; however, if you don't want to wear dressy shoes, definitely choose a nicer fabric. If you're stuck on ideas, I linked several fabrics and styles below, in varying price points!
3) Accessories. Statement necklaces really do the trick, but anything around your neck, or even ears, will do the trick. My tank already had neck ornamentation, so I was set. It's fun to over-accessorize joggers, in the sense of wearing nicer jewelry with them. This gives off a more sophisticated feel. For instance, is there anything a long strand of pearls can't dress up?
Do you have joggers? How do you wear them? Do you wear them in the workplace?
